Lagos: COVID-19 panic hits Obasa, other lawmakers

Hon Mudashiru Obasa, speaker of the Lagos state house of assembly and other lawmakers may have chosen to stay away from the assembly complex for now, following the rampaging activities of the coronavirus, code-named by WHO, covid-19.
Recall that Lagos, the commercial nerve centre of Nigeria, with an estimated population of 203million people, has 81 cases, followed by FCT with 25 Ogun- 4, Enugu- 2 Ekiti- 1 Oyo- 8 Edo- 2 Bauchi- 2 Osun-5 Rivers-1 Benue- 1 Kaduna- 3, as at March 31. 2020.
These figures were released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).s
However, undercover reporter, who visited the assembly complex, Monday, observed that only few journalists, security guards and the clerk of the assembly were at the complex, while most key lawmakers at the place were not there.
