Sowore : my life is in danger

On Wednesday night, Sahara Reporters publisher and # RevolutionNow campaign convener cried out that he was identified as either arrested or assassinated.
Sowore was arrested in November last year and later charged with treason for calling for a nationwide anti-government march.
The trial went through some fits and starts.
Now under bail, though confined to Abuja, is the activist and former student unionist who contested the 2019 election.
In a series of tweets, he said he had information that a bounty had been placed on his head by the Nigerian Defence Intelligence Agency.
According to him, if he resisted capture, the department, which is the country’s main military intelligence agency, would want him to be ‘arrested or murdered’ within the next 24 hours.
Here’s Abuja from the Defence HQ! “Be it understood that this can not impact the fight for liberty,” he wrote defiantly.
“Over the week their minions wrote press releases, letters to international embassies, @TheNationNews was charitable in saying some “ Genuine EndSars ” people want me arrested. The @HQNigerianArmy had a team of @twitter influencers on Sunday saying I should be assassinated, ”he said on Twitter.
He doubled down on the allegation in an update, stating that for weeks the plan to arrest him or fire him was hatched.
The conspiracy against me has been going on for weeks now, and before the signal sent to the security agencies leaked tonight, I was unsure of it. This is a businessman connected to the @mbuhari regime who has been threatening me for weeks since I started with # endsars.
“On Friday, the @policeng team sent to the NASS opened fire on me and stole one of my cars, refusing to return it even though it was intended for PRESS duties. Bala Ciroma, the FCT Police Chief, informed me that the car had committed a crime and would be fined. That was surprising.
There was no response by the DIA to the serious allegations.
