He explained that the emergence of the Southwest Youth Summit would serve as a turning point for young people to accomplish the following: Promoting peace in the Southwest region of Nigeria, equipping youths with the knowledge to build a sustainable society, and mentoring young minds to achieve greatness, among others. On this note, we humbly seek the support of Your Imperial Majesty in the fulfilment of this mandate.

“We have written to the Governors of the Southwest and many other leaders and stakeholders of the region. We aim to ensure that the youths take their rightful place in the regional development discourse. It is time to gain more recognition for hard work and innovation. Through this Summit, we will provide a platform for realising these and more.
In the coming month, we will unveil plans for the event and we are confident that we will stage an event that will change the narratives of youth development in Southwest, Nigeria,” he ended.
