Setonji David, Lagos Lawmaker Begs Journalists on Image Laundering

The Lagos State House of Assembly chairman on information, Honorable Setonji David, representing Badagry constituency 2, at the Lagos State House of Assembly, has appealed to journalists covering the house proceedings to portray the assembly in good image.
He made the appeal in his office in an exclusive interview on Tuesday. Hon. Setonji said, “My concern is about the image of the house”.
He remarked further “I want the public to be fully aware of what the lawmakers do in terms of lawmaking”.
He explained that good image of the house is very paramount. Speaking on the cordial relationship between the lawmakers and the Speaker Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, Hon. Setonji revealed that the relationship between the lawmakers and the speaker is harmonious because Rt. Hon. Speaker Obasa is performing well; he carries his colleagues along in decision making.
Setonji remarked that the lawmakers love Obasa because of his good performance and good character, explaining that, that is why he is supported by the legislators in the assembly. Hon. Setonji, however appealed to journalists in the house to verify their reports and balance it before publication,
