Security Tips for Women

By Emmanuel Udom
Take it or leave it, women are God’s gifts to humanity. Without them our world could collapse, go into extinction. Excerpt God himself brings about the miracle.
But, if you think I am writing this piece from the wilderness, then ask your mother, wife, sister, girlfriend, or any woman you know.
God created the girl-child, women as delicate, emotional and tender-hearted human beings.
Yes, there are some women who are devils on earth. Some men are also Satan. This is the negative sides of us. We also have our Godly sides, you know.
This could possibly be the reason majority of women love attention, love to be noticed, love to be taken seriously, love to talk and talk till- thy-kingdom-come.
In this modern age, crimes have gone plc, gone on-line and off-line. So, rapists, kidnappers, killers, robbery, are now targeting the soft, delicate parts of women and the girl child in order to wreak havoc on them.
But, there are some security tips women must learn and practice by fire-by-force. Here are the tips.
Dressing-to-kill: Yes, some women love to dress to kill. It is all about attention. But, while you put on your high heel shoes, long scarves and long neck lace, be prepared to run as fast as possible for survival, if the bad boys get to you.
Make-eye-contact: While walking or driving, if you are confronted by a suspicious person and your mind says the person is evil, look straight into the person’s eyes. He may most likely run away for fear of identification or refuse to attack you, especially in crowded areas.
Be-alert: Yes, you love talking on phone or listening to music while walking or driving. But, you know making calls while driving is illegal and you should be very, very observant of your surroundings while on the road.
Ignore-your-womanhood: Women are sympathetic, this we all know. But, there are times you have to show beyond words the bitch in you. This is when you are attacked. Screen the hell out for all to hear and react.
Run-for-dear- life: When in danger and not under the control of your predator, run for your dear life. The bad boy may have a gun, but he may not shoot, especially in a crowded area or may miss you as the target. Security experts say.
Change-your-route: To stay alive, you must change your routes of going out of your house and coming back, daily. Or else, yawa-go-gas.
Use-security-equipment: Install security gadgets in your house, office, or wherever. It will help you to monitor the bad boys.
Police-tel-lines: Do you know the telephone numbers of the nearest divisional police officer in your area. If not, too bad. If yes, good for you. You will need it when in emergency situations.
