Security and safety conscious drivers all over the world, drive to stay alive.
In this modern age, crimes like other areas, have gone from off-line to on-line with criminals everywhere.
It is now e-fraud, e-robbery, e-terrorism, e-kidnapping, e- car snatching, e-hired killers, or e-whatever.
Therefore, in rural and urban cities in developed and developing countries, drivers, private and commercial, while doing their daily runs must think about their security, their safety, their loved ones.
Here are some tips to aide drivers to stay alive while on the wheel.
1 Keep the doors of your car locked and the windows up while driving through a busy area with stoplights, signposts and lots of people.
2 Maintain enough space between your car and the ones in front and back of you.
3 If you suspect a motorist or someone is following you, drive straight to a police station or any public place, not your house.
4 While shopping, relaxing or having fun, especially at night, park your car where there is good lighting and inform the security officials at the place.
5 If your car breaks down while driving, do not allow a stranger to help you in fixing it.
6 In the name of offering lift, do not pick a stranger, while driving.
7 Never, ever drive through the same route, same time daily to and fro your home, office or business outfit.
8 In this era of e-banking, do not carry much cash with you, while driving.
9 Always communicate with your loved ones while on the road.
10 Store vital police emergency telephone numbers in your phone in case.
11 Car jackers, highway robbers, kidnappers, terrorists, love to operate during odd hours.
