‘Resign Now, Publisher Tells Buhari
DR (MRS) GRACE ACHUM, Publisher-Editor-In-Chief, Business Plus Magazine, is blessed with another year on earth by God.
Today, she spoke with EMMANUEL UDOM, on why Muhammed Buhari, Nigerian President should resign, why she is not fulfilled and the way forward for Nigeria.
Congratulations Madam. God has blessed you with yet another fruitful year on earth. How do you feel?
First and foremost, I am grateful to God for finding me worthy of being counted among the living. May the good LORD be praised.
I am also grateful to all my friends home and abroad for always standing by me through over the years.
But, in all honestly, I am not yet fulfilled and really not happy.
Why?
The present regime of Muhammed Buhari seems to be helpless on the face of mounting insecurity, poverty and hardship spreading through the nooks and crannies of our beloved country.
Therefore, most Nigerians are frustrated, not happy with the realities of situations on ground in Nigeria.
So, what is the way out?
Well, the way out, the way forward, is for President Muhammed Buhari to accept the failure of his administration and resign or step aside. This is the only way out for the country to move forward.
Secondly, I wish to use the opportunity of my birthday to also plead with Buhari to forgive Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Biafran leader, who is still being held by operatives of the Department of State Security Service, DSS, for the role he is playing to ensure secession.
There is nothing basically wrong with requesting for secession, for self-actualization in a country that terrorism, kidnapping, banditry, robbery, the unbecoming activities of Fulani herdsmen, etc are holding sway by the day.
Congratulations of your birthday, Madam
Thank you and God bless
