“My Presidential Mission is to rescue Nigeria” – Udom

The governor of Akwa Ibom State who is among the Peoples Democratic, PDP, and 2023 presidential aspirant says wants to offer himself and to partner with God to rescue Nigeria.
Udom made the promise at the Transcorp Hotel Calabar, on Tuesday during his presidential ambition consultative one day visit tothe Cross River State PDP stakeholders to canvas for support in the PDP presidential primaries.
In his words he said, “I come here today to partner with God to rescue Nigeria in 2023” Udom enumerated Nigeria’s problems to include visionary leaders who can understand Nigeria.
He said, “We need visionary leaders who can understand Nigeria’s lingering challenges, insecurity, unemployment, power challenges which contributed to the crippling of Nigeria economy in recent years.
The governor said as a financial expert and as one runs a successful state like Akwa Ibom State he has what it takes to restructure Nigeria he given support to succeed as the president.
He also said Nigeria as a country only needs one National Seaport t to move Nigeria economy to growing economy
Earlier, Emmanuel Udom campaign organization chairman, former two time governor of Benue state, Senator Gabriel Suswam said, “The government have failed woefully, therefore we need a leader who has the credibility, who can understand Nigeria”
PDP leaders who were present at the Udom’s consultative meeting include, former CRS governor who is also the state PDP leader, Sen.
Liyel Imoke,, former Nigeria Ambassador to Russia, Asam Asam(SAN) PDP chairman, Akwa Ibom State, chief Paul Akpan Ekpo, CRS PDP chairman, Barr. Venatious Ikem.
Others were, Sen. Ghashom Bassey, Senator Representing CRS Southern Senatorial District and CRS governoship aspirant, Hon. Daniel Asuquo, representing CRS Akamkpa Fedderal Constituency and 2023 governorship aspirant in of the state.
