An Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Mubarak Siginni Al-Adabbi has attributed lack of morals among the parents and children as factor causing bad governance and criminality among the politicians and our youths.
He made the assertion in his brief lecture at the fidau prayer organised by Ansarul-Islam Society of Nigeria, Lagos State for late Sheikh Ahmad Olayiwola Kamaludeen Al-Adabbi, Tuesday.
Delivering the lecture at the occasion held at the society Central mosque, Lagos, Sheikh Siginni explained that many youths feel into category of fraudsters, cultism and other criminal activities while emulating their corrupt parents.
He however implored government to correct the anomalies by being truthful, provide employment and deliver dividends of democracy to the electorates, while parents to be upright and take good care of their families.
Describing the late Sheikh Olayiwola Al-Adabbi as an upright man who distinguished himself while serving in government during his life time, he added “he was a man of whose attitude was to be emulated by everyone”
He prayed for the deceased soul to be forgiven by Allah and rewards him with Aljanat Fridaous for all his good deeds.
Among the dignitaries that grace the occasion are the National President of Ansarul-Islam, Alhaji Sulaimon Afolabi, Sheikh Ahmad Gbajabiamila (represented the Chief Imam of Lagos) and Sheikh Musa Abdulkareem, the Chief Imam of Ansarul-Islam, Lagos State. Others are many Imams, Islamic Scholars within and outside Lagos.
