Gov Ayade Presents Multi-Million-Naira Jeep to APC Members in Calabar

Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade, Monday, presented three multi-million-naira Toyota Land Cruiser Jeeps to Cross River National Assembly members in his political party, APC.

Online reports have it that Martin Orim, Chief of Staff to the governor made the car presentation to the NASS members at the Cross River State Liaison Office, Abuja.

According to Ayade, the gift was in appreciation of the member’s loyalty to his leadership and the APC.

He reiterated that the car gift is to help facilitate their movement in the course of representing the people.

Ayade said the Cross River APC Reps members understood the imperative of socketing the State to the center, describing them as dependable allies.

Responding on behalf of the reps members, Legor Idagbo said the loyalty of the members would remain with Ayade, adding that “the Governor has demonstrated exceptional leadership at the State and party levels.”

He thanked the Governor for his benevolence, pledging the members readiness and commitment to work with him towards developing the State.Legor who said Ayade’s decision to defect to the ruling APC is in the interest of the State, added that the passion to transform Cross River State necessitated the Governor’s movement.
