On Saturday, Lagos, the epicentre of the COVID-19 pandemic, confirmed zero coronavirus infections.
In its latest update, the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, reported 112 new infections.
It also reported zero deaths, leaving unchanged the death toll of 1163.
The second grim capital, Abuja, topped the regular table with 27 events.
In the confirmed virus cases, Oyo state, ranked 4th, also registered 27 cases.
The remaining 58 incidents, all in single digits, were accounted for by 13 other nations.
“To date, 64,996 cases have been confirmed, 61029 cases have been released, and 1163 deaths have been reported in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory,” according to NCDC.
The NCDC also revealed that 705,809 samples have been nationally screened so far and that there are still 2804 active cases.
