EKITIS IN ONDO STATE DECLARES SUPPORT FOR AKEREDOLU
The Senior Special Assistant (Diaspora Affairs) to Ekiti State Governor Femi Odere was in Akure on Wednesday August 12, 2020 for an interactive meeting with the leadership of the associations of Ekiti indigenes in Ondo State.
At the meeting, the Governor’s aide expressed the importance of supporting Governor Rotimi Akeredolu in his bid for reelection in October 2020 not only because of what he described as the “bone which God breathed life into that’s now famous as Ile Iyi, Ile Eye was taken from the ribs of Ondo State” but also that the “peaceful political coexistence and progress in both states should be sustained and nurtured.”
While the leaders, in their different remarks, readily declared their readiness and that of their members to work for and cast their votes for Governor Akeredolu in accordance with the dictate of the governor of their home state Dr. Kayode Fayemi, they also expressed the hope that a new approach would be embraced during the electioneering campaign in order that their efforts and votes can be maximized.
After the meeting, the governor’s aide paid a courtesy visit to the MD/CEO of Klick Konnect Network, Chief Alexander Ajipe in his office.
