CORE Tackles LASG over Activities of Land Speculators
By Emmanuel Udom
Coalition for Revolution, (CORE), an online public group, with national and international spread, has expressed disguise at the manner land speculators are bulldozing their ways to take over estates, built by some past governors of Lagos State for the working masses.
Gbenga Komolafe, Co-Convener of CORE, in a Facebook post said Gowon Estate, Jakande Housing Estates and Shagari Housing Estates, etc, were built by various governments in the past to provide shelter for working people.
Regrettably however, “since 1999, some agencies in Lagos had only demolished poor people’s homes and steal their lands for land speculators!”
He wondered if this was not what June 12 was about! #June12Protests
